There has been a change of personnel in the Management Board of Fondsdepot Bank GmbH. On 11 June 2018, Sebastian Henrichs became CEO of the Management Board. The departing CEO, Dr Christian Dicke, left the company for personal reasons and is devoting himself to new challenges. After a cooling-off period, Dr Dicke will remain available to the bank in an advisory capacity on the Shareholder Committee.
The 36-year old business graduate Henrichs began his career in auditing and consulting at Deloitte and after this collected experience in various management positions at different companies before switching to Fondsdepot Bank in 2012.
Henrichs underwent intensive preparation for the new task in the last three years as general agent of the bank. "Our top priority in finding a successor was continuity. We have already been working closely with Sebastian Henrichs for a long time on the successful further development of Fondsdepot Bank," says Claus Schünemann, Vice President Banking & Capital Markets EMEA at DXC Technology, to which Fondsdepot Bank GmbH belongs.
Henrichs himself is looking forward to the role as CEO of the Management Board, "The time in which I'm taking over the reins of the company is very exciting. Regulatory challenges, digitalisation and the growing competition from fintechs is presenting us with challenges that we have mastered up to now with our innovativeness. We will continue to pursue this course successfully."
