Our path

Everyone at Fondsdepot Bank is called upon to contribute his or her potential and to actively participate in actions on the topic of sustainability. We take responsibility – towards our colleagues, Fondsdepot Bank, society and the environment. In our Sustainability Forum, which was founded in 2019, all employees have the opportunity to participate. In this circle, which consists of members from various departments and hierarchical levels, guiding principles were already decided in 2019 that will guide all measures at Fondsdepot Bank. In regular meetings, ongoing actions are steered and new ideas are discussed.

We are committed to the idea of a more sustainable world and work together with our colleagues to create a sustainable corporate culture. In our sustainability report for the financial year 2022/2023, you will find non-financial aspects and further information on our efforts for more sustainability at Fondsdepot Bank.

Environment

Environmental protection plays an important role for us. Here, we focus above all on environmentally friendly equipment in the company. We try to identify negative environmental factors within our value chain and create initiatives to improve our environmental balance. For example, we reduce air pollutant emissions and work in a way that conserves resources as much as possible. Another focal point in this context is the promotion of initiatives that focus on the 
recycling or reuse of resources.

Social

As a medium-sized company, the welfare of the the well-being of the community is our top priority. In the social context, we focus on the one hand on promoting the development and education of children and young people and on the other hand on supporting the elderly. To achieve this, we support local, non-profit institutions and projects that promote the development of children and young people, or support older people in their everyday lives and thus show them perspectives in society.

Corporate governance

Our obligation

June 2023: Fondsdepot Bank supports student exchange of Hochfrankengymnasium Naila to France

As a supporter and promoter of the regional education sector, Fondsdepot Bank was able to help make a student exchange possible. From 11 to 17 May this year, 27 students from Hochfrankengymnasium Naila and their teachers took part in the student exchange programme, which was organised in cooperation with Collège René Cassin in Noidans-lès-Vesoul, France.

December 2022: Schutzhöhle e.V. in Hof receives donation from Fondsdepot Ban

According to information from Schutzhöhle e.V., violence in Hof and the surrounding area has increased this year due to the effects of Corona. For the third time after 2017 and 2018, the Schutzhöhle e.V. in Hof will receive the traditional Christmas donation of 2,000 euros from the local Fondsdepot Bank. When the husband of an employee became seriously ill and now urgently needed a stem cell donation, Fondsdepot Bank took action. On 30 September 2019, the company started a registration campaign in cooperation with the DKMS at the Hof location for all employees and their relatives.

In July 2018, some of our employees demonstrated their craftsmanship at the Kinderwelt St. Lorenz. With the active support of our team, a new playhouse and a mud kitchen were built for the children.

21 December 2017: Wish list campaign

The wish list campaign for Christmas in 2017 showed how well the CR idea has already taken root among the staff. As part of the campaign, children and young people from the St. Elisabeth Youth Welfare Centre of Diakonie Hochfranken were allowed to fill out wish lists with an equivalent value of €20. Attached to a Christmas tree in the Fondsdepot Bank, our employees were able to buy the appropriate gifts and fulfil wishes.

14 December 2017: Christmas donation

In 2017, the Christmas donation of Fondsdepot Bank went to Schutzhöhle e.V. in Hof. This year, employees and customers again relinquished their Christmas presents in order to pool €2,000 for the donation.

In December 2017, some Fondsdepot Bank employees facilitated a Christmas read-aloud afternoon for primary school pupils at the Christian-Wolfrum primary school in Hof. More than 100 children from first to fourth grade finally listened to the exciting stories of our employees.
